This site is a tribute to Stanley (Stan) Crosby who was born in Sunderland on 4 Jul 1920. He joined the Royal Navy in 1939 and served until the 1950s. He served in the Royal Naval Patrol Service (RNPS) and in submarines too. Toward the end of his life, our Father had cataracts but never lost his sight, thankfully. He would have been supportive of donations in his name though to the historic, noble, visionary charity, Blind Veterans (created as St Dunstan's in 1915). So please help us to remember our Dad, who was much loved, by supporting Blind Veterans. Thank you.
